Traci Staten

August 15, 1965 ~ December 21, 2016 (age 51) 51 Years Old

Mrs. Traci E. Staten was born in Rockford, IL to James Douglas and Ruth Anna DePriest. In 1983 Traci married Robert Staten Sr. this union brought two children Brittany & Robert Jr.
She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Charles W Ausler, Grandmother Florence Earlene Ausler, Mother Ruth Anna DePriest, Father James Douglas DePriest, and sister Theresa Dawn Ausler.
Traci was employed at CJ Vitners now SnakKing Corporation for many years. During her membership at Pilgrim Baptist Church of Rockford, IL, Traci was a member of The Circle of Ruth as well as an active leader in their children's and youth programs. Traci later joined Total Faith Community Church where she was Praise and Worship Leader and also co-chaired the women's ministry fellowship. Traci loved serving the community: She was an active volunteer for the Prison Fellowship and Angel Tree Ministries for 20 years and at the Rockford Rescue Mission Women's Crisis Center for 7 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son Robert Staten Jr, one daughter Brittany Staten, one sister Zakia (Jamaal) Ivy, a special niece Alexandria Allen, 2 sisters in laws, 2 brothers in laws, 4 grandchildren (Na'Ziya, Nevaeh, Nasir and Traci Brielle) a host of "Gigi's babies" and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Special thanks to friends Renade Cossey, Staci Wright, Raquel Armstrong, Aunt Jaqualine Ferguson, Uncle Christopher and Aunt Phyllis Ausler. Also many blessings to everyone that assisted with travel back and forth to appointments and treatments as well as the many love offerings of financial assistance we have received. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at Rush University Medical Center for your amazing care and service. To our Total Faith Community Church words cannot express how much we Love, Thank, and Appreciate each and every one of you.
