Welcome to the memorial page for

Eboni R. White

May 5, 1973 ~ May 25, 2016 (age 43) 43 Years Old
Eboni Roseann White was born on the 5th day of May in 1973, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Georgia Ann White and Gale Patterson. She was raised by her mother, Georgia Ann White and step-father, George Allen White. Eboni had a short battle with various medical issues and on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, Eboni transitioned to glory. God said it was time and that her suffering would be no more.

Eboni was a native of Rockford. She graduated from Rockford East High School, attended Eastern Illinois University and most recently attended Judson University to complete her Bachelor's Degree before becoming ill. Her employment included the YMCA, the Mill, and the Department of Human Services for which she worked fifteen years.

Eboni will be remembered for being a phenomenal and loving mother to Anaya, as they even shared birthdays. An awesome "T.T." and caretaker for Khaliel, as well as an awesome "T.T." to Janai, who held the reigns until Anaya came. (LOL!!) Her ability to wear so many hats is but one of the many reasons why she will be profoundly missed. Eboni was the epitome of what it means to be a GREAT and TRUE FRIEND. She was the virtuous woman with a heart of pure gold, and her loving care for children and family was a reflection of God's love.

Eboni will certainly be remembered for her love of the cooking shows on The Food Channel Network, along with her love for fancy pots and pans, her shopping addictions for the kids, her love for music, ANYTHING Orange (burnt orange to be exact), as well as television shows and movies that defined her African heritage and culture.

Eboni leaves to cherish her life and loving memories, her only child, Anaya Ashae' Wright; four sisters: Deena White, Faye Patterson, Gabrielle Patterson, and Gizelle Patterson; two brothers: Patrick (Sandy) Patterson and Timothy Staten; a host of nieces and nephews: Janai Crumbley, Unique Patterson (who helped care for Eboni while at Amberwood) and Khaliel White; Godmothers: Faye Hodges and Stephanie Russell Davis; God-sister, Neko Holloway; special friends: Nick (Kenyatta) Wright, Kimberly (Quincy) Wimbush, Karen (Pastor Patrick) Coleman, Ariel Jackson, Tirah Brown, Mary Trammell, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins , family and friends. Eboni was predeceased by her parents: Georgia Ann and George Allen White and grandparent: Gladys Reeves Blake
