Willie Lewis Obituary

Willie Lewis, the son of King Lewis and Lela Watson, was born on June 1, 1929 in Helena, Arkansas. His parents proceeded him in death. 

Willie moved to Sikeston, Missouri at a young age where he attended school. He met and married Ozie Lewis and they had four children to this union. He moved to Chicago, Illinoisand then to Rockford, Illinois where he met and later married Loreace Threadgill. To this union they had two children. 

Willie was employed as a Crane Operator at GuniteCorporation where he retired.  Willie loved entertaining and socializing. His infectious laugh was the life of any gathering. He managed The Royal Travels Spiritual Group for several years. He also loved bowling and participated in the localleague. Willie was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and later in life he joined Greater Harvest Church until his health worsened. 

He leaves to cherish his memory:
