William Tripplett

William "Bug" Tripplett, transitioned to his heavenly fathers house to join his family on September 29,2024. Born on October 20, 1951 to the union of William Ira and Beola Tripplett.

Bug graduated from Rockford West High School, where he was well known for his athletic skills. He loved track, football, and basketball of which his favorite team was the Golden State Warriors. Bug Worked for many years before retiring from Reed Chatwood. After the passing of his mom, Bug relocated to Michigan where he resided with his sister Camena,  until he was called home to be with the Lord. Bug was the life of the party, known for having "the gift of gab" you could consider him being the daily news reporter.

Bug was a caring and dependable brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved his family unconditionally. He held an unbreakable bond with his nieces and nephews ( Areic, Brandon, Shoe Shoe, Aniya, Jazmine, Stevi, Journi, Timberli ("T Mony), and Jadyn (J-Boom) his sidekick.

Bug leaves to cherish many loving memories, Daughters; Micheele (William) Davis, (Rockford, IL), Tavanna ( Micheal) Branch, (Rockford, IL), Son; Joseph Marshall (St Charles, IL) , Brother; Oscar (Bessie) Tripplett, (Rockford, IL), Sister; Camena Ferguson, Ypsilanti, MI, Sister in Law, Lenora Tripplett, (Rockford, IL), God Brother; Renault Griffin, (Rockford, IL), Very Special nephews; Shannon Tripplett,  and Jimi Ferguson both of (Ypsilanti, MI), Special Nieces; Anissa Jones, (Chicago, IL), Uncle; Victory (Carol) Bell, (Rockford, IL), Aunt ; Maggie Bolden, (Memphis, TN), Grandchildren; Tyler, Chelsea, Cole, Janaya (Angel Baby), and "B.F.F" Lightning. Special Cousins; Gloria Eason, Thelma Taylor, Debra Hudson, Lorlean Hudson, Marcus Bell, and Tommy Davis. Special friends of many years: Robbie Peoples, Bobby Curtis, Janice Gordon, Kathy Brown, and Mr. & Mrs. Marvin Copeland of (Ypsilanti, MI).
