Wayne Roy Thompson 66 of Rockford, departed this earthly life Thursday, May 07,2020. He was born May 02, 1954 in Monroe, Louisiana; the son of Annie R. Thompson and Tim Thompson.

Wayne leaves to cherish many fond memories, four sons, Wayne Jackson, Codell Jackson, Eric Jackson, and Michael Jackson all of Rockford, Il; Nine grandchildren; Nine brothers, Hank (Dorothy) Webb (Epps, LA), Gregory Webb (Dallas,TX), Timothy (Julie) Webb (Michigan), Billy Thompson, Anthony (Shelly) Thompson, Johnnie Thompson, Larry Thompson, Allen (Lena) Webb, and Willie Banks all of Rockford; three sisters, Geraldine Thompson (Lake Providence, LA), Dorothy Ruth Thompson (Lake Providence),  Lisa Thompson (Rockford, Il), Mother, of children Delores Jackson; special friend, Ladonna Joseph and a host of niece and nephews and friends. 

Wayne was predeceased by his mother and father Timothy and Annie Ruth Thompson, son, Jermaine Jackson, and brother, Charles Thompson and one grandson, Jermaine Jackson Jr.
