Trevor (Uncle Trevor) “T.C.” Council was born January 30, 1950 to the parents of Johnnie Mae Salonia Council and Charles “Chuck” Willard Fields. Both parents preceeded him in death.
Also preceeding him in death were siblings Odessa; Betty Jean; Lee Virgil; and LaToyia Elaine. Nieces: Dorothy and Carloyn. Nephews: Wayne and David. Uncles: Charles and Lawrence; Aunts: Cleo and Ruth.
At birth, Trevor was blessed with an angelic tenor voice; and as a young adult he traveled to various churches with his siblings and Aunt Ruth. At the direction of their mother (and sister), their gospel choir was joyous and inspiring.
Trevor attended Chicago Public School. At the age of nineteen, he married his first wife, Elyse Cook; to this union two children were born. Son, Robert and daughter, Lisa. Lisa preceeded him death.
In 1975, Trevor met and married, Shelia Washington, to that union they raised four children. Son Trevor “Nyree”, Frank III, Stacey and Cherry.
In 1983, Trevor and companion, Lisa Lucy, relocated to Rockford, Il. and he worked as a Laborer (Local 31). That year Reginald Darnell (Katia) Council was born.
Trevor established and shared a special fatherly bond and relationship with Derrick (Nicole), Rayshawn, Desmond, Kiesha, and Jasmine, which spending many years with their mother, Jean Brown (also preceeded him in death). Son, Darius “Travon”, was born during this time.
Uncle Trevor loved his family unconditionally and lived life to the fullest. He “LOVED” his family gatherings, singing, and fishing.
Uncle Trevor was always the life of the party with his jokes and infectious laughter.
Trevor departed from this life on May, 23, 2018.
He leaves to cherish his lasting memories: sons: Robert, Trevor “Nyree”. Reginald, Darius “Travon”Derrick, Rayshawn, Desmond, and Frank III; daughters: Stacey, Cherry, Keisha, and Jasmin; daughters in law, Katia and Nicole; Brother, Leonard (Bug) Cooper; brother in law, Cecil W. Mitchell, twenty four grandchildren, ten great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and companion and special friend, Melanie.
