Treva Juanita (Jefferson) King Gained her wings on May 4 2024. She was born on February 4, 1967, in Rockford, IL to Evelyn C. Jefferson and Conyers C. Jefferson.
Treva attended East High School. She was a lifelong church member of St. Paul Church Of God In Christ. She was an active member of Living Faith Tabernacle where she was a choir director and took leadership in the kitchen ministry. Treva worked at Yorkdale Nursing Home, CMF Mortgage as a loan officer for several years. She had the opportunity to write the music for their commercial. She was very musically inclined and an artist at heart. Going by the stage name “The Mi$$ez” many doors opened for her. She worked on several music projects. Releasing several singles performing at various events and venues. She was a first-place contestant in a poetry contest in 1995, winning her mother a diamond pendant from WIFR. Later in life, she was afforded the opportunity to appear on the Ricki Lake Show with her daughter in New York City in 2004.
Treva leaves to cherish many loving and fond memories to her loving children; Dawn M. Livingston, Timothy W. King II, Timisha S King, Trevin J. C. King; Grandchildren; Branson M. Martin, Samarah M. Martin, Genesis A. Martin, Brannon G. Z. Martin, Revelation X. R. Jackson, Maniyah S. Smith, Asani T. King, Lee’onie J. King, Journie D. King, Promise M. King, Jayden J. Jefferson, Julian Jefferson, Jameel Kahn and Jalilah Kahn; Sister; Margaret D. Jefferson and Helen Powell; and a host of god-children, foster children, relatives and friends.
