Tommy E. Francis

Tommy Eugene Francis 64, of Rockford, IL was born on November 10, 1959 to Oscar and Willie Mae Francis in Vance Mississippi.  He departed this life December 08, 2023. 

Tommy was a lover of cars.  He enjoyed painting, fixing, and driving any car that was around.  At the age of 16, Tommy started his own mechanic shop and ran it until his health declined.  Tommy also enjoyed DJing, fishing, listening to music and bowling. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Francis; four sons, Corey Francis, DeAndre Jones Francis, Aunest’e and Tommaus Francis; one daughter, Tanisha Francis; ten grandchildren; his mother, Willie Mae Francis; four brothers; Jimmy (Louisa) Francis of Louisville, Texas, Oscar Francis of Keller, Texas, Omer (Ursula) Francis of Roscoe, Illinois, Christopher (Ayana) Francis of Douglasville, Georgia; two sisters, Debra Francis of University City, Missouri, and  Mary Francis-Agnew of Douglasville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He was predeceased by son, Eugene Francis and father Oscar Francis; maternal grandparents Willie and Katie Beasley; paternal grandparents Omer and Marie Francis.
