Shirley Faye Gill

Shirley Faye Gill was born in Strong, Arkansas on November 20, 1958 to the late Laura Mae Gill. Quietly on April 15, 2024 Shirley entered into eternal rest.

In early years shriley attended the Page Park School in Rockford, Illinois. She worked for some time at Growth Enterprise also in Rockford. Shirley lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut for over 30 years.

She returned to Rockford to be a help to her family.

Shirley had such a good heart and caring personality. She love working with children, she would be the go-to babysitter. Shirley truly showed love to all her loved ones. She volunteered at various local community service outreach centers. Shirley knew the Lord and attended churches here in Rockford. We will carry her smile always in our heart.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her devoted Aunt Mary and Uncle Donald Gary. First Cousins Sabrina, Donald, Travis, Edolo Garys and Tianaan Huston and a devoted friend, Cheryl Lambert, and a host of friends.
