In loving memory of our beloved Rosie Elaine Bailey also known as " Lainey Cat ". Rosie was born on February 3, 1966, and passed away on January 19, 2025. It is with profound sorrow and deep love we celebrate the memory of Rosie Elaine Bailey.
Rosie was born in Osceseola, Arkansas to the late George E. Bailey and Verdie Bea Bailey. Rosie came to Rockford, IL in 1970, with her parents. She attended Rockford Public Schools. Rosie accepted Christ at an early age.
She briefly worked in customer service for Olan Mills Photography and McDonalds. Rosie was a very kindhearted person. She would regularly wear her heart on her sleeve. Rosie was very generous, if she had it and you needed it, then she gave it to you without hesitation. Despite Rosie's journey in life, she remained fierce. After all the battle is not given to the swift but unto the strong ( Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 ). Rosie was a very strong person. She fought until the end until she could no longer fight anymore.
Rosie leaves behind a daughter Verrita Bailey, a son Jonathan Bailey; grandchildren: Immorial, Peace, Melanie, and Majesty Bailey; Siblings: Joyce Ward, Jerry Bailey, Rita Bailey, Margaret Bailey, and Mary Coretta Bailey. Rosie leaves behind many special friends who were dear to her heart; Merline Love, Juanita Love, Deborah Love, Willa Benford, and Jerry Taylor. Rosie leaves a host of other family and friends behind. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly but she always spoke of Marecio Bailey Mangruem “ Her Protector " and she even loved the dog " Solo Pop ". Rosie had a big heart.
Rosie was preceded in death by both parents George and Verdie Bea Bailey, Maternal Grandparents; Jahue and Annie Mae Stowe, Siblings; George Bailey, Jr., Beatrice Taylor, Fritz Bailey, Patricia Smith, John Bailey, Jerry Bailey, Joanne Mae Bailey, and Georgia Mae Hodges.
