Ronald Harris

Today we gather to honor a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a true man of God. With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember Ronald Harris, who passed December 15, 2025.

Born on June 4th 1954, Ronald lived with a heart rooted in care and love always putting others first, offering comfort without being asked, and loving in a way that made people feel truly seen and valued.

Ronald had a gift for nurturing, supporting, encouraging, and his kindness was felt in both the quiet moments and the hardest times. Whether through checking in, helping hands, or thoughtful gestures, he gave love freely and without expectation.

Ronald found joy in simple pleasures, but his greatest devotion was to family, friends, and community. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity and for the love he shared so openly.

Preceded in death by mom Mary Margaret Harris, dad Charles Hanserd and son, Ronald Harris. 

He leaves to cherish his memories are his children, Tawana Smith, Stephen Harris, and Philip (Ebony) Harris, siblings Marcel(Donte) Ward, Steven (Sara) Harris, John (Sonya) Harris, and Donna Kay Williams. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special close friends.

A memorial will be held on December 27th at Collins and Stone Funeral home, 128 S. 5th St. where all who were touched by Ronald’s love are welcome to gather and remember.

Visitation will be from 9am to 11am and the funeral service from 11am to 12pm. 

In honor of Ronald’s life, flowers, donations, and acts of kindness are greatly appreciated.
