Roger Pennie Sr.

Roger Pennie, Sr. of Rockford, IL transitioned peacefully on December 12, 2024. Roger was born on January 31, 1959, to the late Odessa Pennie. 

Roger graduated high school and would later obtain his associates degree. He later married the late Allisha Marsh. One of his hobbies was watching football. He was an avid football enthusiast. He coached football for many years. Roger was also a very hard worker. His laughter, intellectual conversations, and presence will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him. Lastly Roger would like for everyone to know that "the red last of the red-hot pepper lovers has left the building". 

Leaving to cherish many loving and fond memories are his Daughters; Tameeka (Fred) Benson, Eva Pennie, Latezya Lilly, Son; Decole Lilly, Grandchildren; Joeniya, Emanni, Tory, Keon, Keoni, Artavian, Shawn, Reign, Trey, Thedell, Sister; Janie McKenzie, Brothers; Charles Brown and Richard Pennie.

Roger was predeceased by his loving parents, and son Roger Pennie, Jr., Brothers; Micheal Pennie, Bobby Goodwin,
