Richard L. Smithee

Richard Lee Smithee was born 12/16/1958 in Rockford, Illinois to James and Glenda Smithee. 

Rick married Teresa Whittaker in December of 1996 and, from this union, daughter Evylyn Smithee was born. 

Rick was a self-taught jack of all trades and ran a small engine repair shop for many years. 

Rick enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hanging out in the garage with family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and being called "uncle rick" by his nieces and nephews. 

Rick was survived by his wife, Teresa Whittaker-Smithee; daughter, Evylyn Smithee; son, Ricky Joe Smithee and two brothers, James and Ronald Smithee.
