R. C. Williams-Walker

Mrs. R.C Williams Walker was born in Grenada, MississippiDec 5 1914 to Benjamin and Willie Ann Williams. 

R.C later moved to Itta Bena , Mississippi, where she attended public schools and raised her family until moving 2016

R.C married the late Melvin Walker and had four children, twin boys Willie B. And Eddie. B and daughter's Elzina Thomas and QZ jackson. And she raised Levavie Grayson Sr. Mavin Childs,Renee Walker, Janice Walker, Vantia Walker, Devonant Walker Lashonda Walker. 

Following her mother's footsteps R.C trained to be a mid-wife and became invaluable to mothers who lived on plantations near her home. R.C continued to deliver babies until the mid 1980’s.

With a passion for helping others, R.C raised many of her grandchildren, took in foster children, and cared for the sick or injured family members without hesitation.

R.C walker had lived a Remarkable life and has been a source of strength for so many. R.C Walker has 37 grandchildren, 86,great – grandchildren and 46 great great grand children.
