Mitchell L. Owens

Mitchell Louis Owens departed this earthly life on March 06, 2020 after a sudden illness.  Mitchell was born January 19, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois to his wonderful parents, Andrew and Essie Mae (Primm) Owens. 

Mitchell was the proud father of two sons with Cassandra Wimbush. 

Big MITCH leaves to cherish his memories, Mitchell (Brandy) Wimbush and Quincy (Kimberly) Wimbush; grandchildren, Shanta, Mitchell Jr, RayKevon, Faith, Kendrick and Kendra; great grandchildren, Zaria, Rhyelle, Kayden, Mitchell III, Raelyn, Za’vion, and Khi’Marion; sisters, Elizabeth Glenn and Helen (Jimmy) Spant, both of Rockford, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and loved ones.

Mitchell is predeceased by both his parents; three brothers, Ivory, Archie, and Andrew Owens.
