Michael Harrington

Michael L. Harrington, 62, departed this earthly life on Sunday, February 20th, 2022, at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL after a short illness. He was born on October 2nd, 1959, in Rockford Il, the son of Rico Harrington and Joan Tollifero-Grayned.

      Mikey enjoyed swimming and was an avid diver. He also enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking. Mikey was known for being very well dressed, and he took pride in that.

      He leaves to cherish four sons, Michael Harrington Jr., Dewayne Forrest, Tyler Harrington, and Philip Carter. He also leaves behind six daughters, Chastity Harrington, Sarah Williams, Stephanie Harrington, Markeeta Forrest, Brianna Harrington, and Stephanie Corder. 

     Mikey was a very proud PaPa to a host of grand and great grandchildren. 

     Mikey is survived by 4 brothers, Otha Harrington, Freeman Hubbard, Mark Harrington, and Robert "Bobby" Harrington (Deceased). 

     Micheal is predeceased by father Rico Harrington, mother Joan Tollifero- Grayned and brother Robert " Bobby" Harrington.

     His family was his shining light, and he will be missed dearly.
