Michael Duane Cole was born August 27, 1968, to the late Lee and Dorothy Cole in Rockford, IL. He answered Gods call home on October 30, 2025, to inherit his mansion.
Michael attended Guilford High School. He worked for Progressive Steel Treating for many dedicated years. He loved helping people, making people laugh, music, fishing, beat boxing, traveling, football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some of his greatest joys in life were spending time with his siblings, feeding people, joking, taking a short drive to get some air, and being a father to his daughter of whom he was proud.
He was predeceased in death by Father; Lee Cole, Mother; Dorothy Cole, Sisters Faye and Renae Cole, and nephews; Laumarcus Cole and Prince Chatman.
Michael Leaves to cherish his loving memories, Daughter Desiree Cole, Siblings Anita Cole, Jerry Cole, Jackie Cole, and James Cole of Rockford, IL, La Shunda Cole of TN, Stanley (Keyshia) of Georgia, Teirney Vance, Edward Cole, LaMardus Ford and Darryl Smith of Wisconsin; Deloris Stevens, a very dedicated, loved, and cherished friend.
Michael was a loving, caring, and well-loved man who never met a stranger. Michael was always a peaceful spirited man. He was known as dad and pawpaw to stepchildren; Latoya Stevens, Christine Tomlinson, Jamidra Tomlinson, and James Tomlinson Jr., he considered it an honor to be part of their lives.
Michael will truly be missed by all the lives he touched, his family, and all that he had the privilege of knowing him.
