Mary L. (Tolon) Lockett

    Mary L. Lockett (Tolon), 67, of Moseley, VA  departed this earthly life March 24, 2018 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA.;  Mary was born April 22, 1950 in Crawford, MS the daughter of Jasper Tolon, Sr., and Mollie (Williams) Tolon.  She lived in Rockford over 40 years, coming from Crawford and related to Virginia In 2015.  She was employed 20+ years by Camera Textron and she also had a devoted interest in gardening.  She attended school in Mississippi.  

Mary leaves to cherish many loving memories, sons, Eric (Tanya) Lockett and James (Cebrina) Davis; grandchildren, Demarice Davis, Porshae Davis, Shatikwa Davis, Terri Davis, James Branch, Eriq Lpockett and Tariq Lockett; mother, Mollie Tolon; brothers, Jasper Tolon Jr., Robert Tolon, Willie, Tolon, John Tolon, and Fred Tolon; sisters, Lucille Mosley and Doris Buchanan and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her father, parental grandparents, Emmanual and Susan Tolon and maternal grandparents, Jimmie Williams and Rosie Brooks, and brother, Lee Tolon. 

    The service is Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 301 Klines Ave, Rockford, IL 61102.  Viewing at 9:00 AM, with service at 11:00 AM.  The interment held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, IL.
