Mary Ann Suggs
June 16, 1969 – May 5, 2026
Mary Ann Suggs, lovingly known as “Baby M,” peacefully departed this life on May 5, 2026, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Mary was a woman of strength, compassion, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her warm spirit and loving heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving mother, Linda L. Suggs and her beloved children: Di Antione, T.J. Suggs, John Jr. Tomlinson, Darius D. Crayton, Melissa G. Goodge, Datavia C. Crayton, Darica D. Goodge, and Joe M. Boose, Ezekiel Aslam, Seanix Goodge, and Phoenix Goodge. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Candy D. Rhoades (John), Regina L. Chance (Wayne), Zelett Foster, Joel Turner, and Eshawnial (Beth) Lowry. Mary shared a special and meaningful bond with her dear friend, Russell Lottie.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind her only niece; Janishia Tomlinson (Aunny), nephews, God sisters, godbrothers, a special goddaughter Andrea Phillips, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, John H. Suggs; her beloved daughter, Shatavia T. Crayton; and her great-grandson, Jamario Tomlinson Jr.
Mary’s love, warmth, laughter, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts.
