Lashon Stifter

Lashon "Shon" Elizabeth Stiffer of Rockford departed this earthly life December 21, 2023. She was born June 26, 1972, to Gertrude Stifter and raised by David Merritt in Rockford, IL. Shon was previously employed by Parthenios and Speedy Cab Service. She loved spending time with family and friends.

Lashon leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughters, Nakari "NaNa" Base and Angela "Angel" Brady, son Darius "Poonie" Triplett; sister Dionne (Craig) Neal, and Nee (Stephanie) Stifter; three grandkids Ji'lya "Jiji" Gresham, Darius "Dada" Stifter, and Ayanna "Yani" Triplett; seven nephews Sean, Da'Arrio, Khalil, Tre'von, Tazin, Elijah, and Tyrus; and three nieces Ashley, Cookie, Devaney, Karina, and Trinity. A host of great nieces, great nephew's cousins and other relatives and friends including a special friend Reagan Farmer. She was predeceased by her mom Gertrude Stifter and dad David Merritt.
