Laprisha Lenoir

Laprisha Sherell Lenoir departed this earthly life on November 20, 2021, to be with the Lord. She was born on July 24,1974, in Rockford, Ill., to Cheryl Lenoir and Eric Beard. 

She was employed by Great West Insurance Companyand Cigna Insurance Company, and was a senior claims analyst. When they closed here in Rockford, she was given a relocation job in Denver, Col.. She became ill in 2009 and had to return home. She played an important role in the ministry with her mother. She had a very infectious smile, and enjoyed her life to the fullest. She encouraged all. She will be greatly missed. 

Laprisha leaves behind her dad who raised her, Jerome Bondurant (Cheryl); her son, Jordan Lenoir (Kaitlynn); three sisters, Shonna Beard, Trish Beard, and Tonya Phillips; and extended family. She also leaves behind her close friends, Yashica Reed, Stephanie Washington, and Christina Locke. 

She is predeceased by her daughter, Tahja Lenoir; birth father, Eric Beard; grandmothers, Eva Mae Fry, Shirley McLin, and Thelma Beard; grandfather, Abraham Lenoir; niece, Mauricia McLin; uncles, Tim Burrow, Todd McLin, Marvin McLin, and Greg Beard; aunt, Eva Burrows; and cousin, Debra Robinson. 

Memorial Services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the family’s name to Collins and Stone Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.collinsandstonefh.com.
