Kyle D. Nighswonger 38 passed away unexpectedly October 16, 2023 in the hospital with his loved ones by his side. He was born September 13, 1985, in Rockford, Illinois to Sandy and Gary Nighswonger. Kyle always liked helping others and he thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He grew up going to the Rockford speedway. He loved snowmobiling. He also loved music and his favorite Child song was “chapel of love”. He was loving and caring and he had such a big heart. Kyle loved to be funny he was always making his nieces and nephews laugh. Kyle had a special love for his late dog Cujo. Kyle is predeceased by his mother, brother grandparents, uncle, best friend Franky, niece Celerina and dog Cujo. Leaving to cherish loving memories are his dad Gary, brothers, Kurt and Kevin, Aunts; Kathy and Phillis, Uncle; Dennis, Sisters; Karen, Kimberly, Nieces; Gabby, Hannah, Makayla, Mya, Angel, Allison and Abby Nephews; Josiah Wyatt, Waylon, Douglas, Nick, Cody, Bobby, Austin, Zack and lots of family and friends. Special friends are Amy Stone, Brian Geske, Alicia Austin, Chris Menge and Karen Thurow. A reception will be held at the West Suburban Fire Station 3816 West State St., starting at 1 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023.
