Kenyetta Roysel Curtis was born August 31, 1971 to Donald R. Curtis and Glenna R. (Curtis) Smith. She attended Auburn High School and graduated from Roosevelt Alternative School. Kenyetta was employed by several companies in the Rockford area. She departed this life on February 15, 2022.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Marrisha Williams; and son, Joshua Williams; parents, B. Russell and Glenna Smith; siblings, Vikki Warren, Donika (Brian) Smith, Marquisha Curtis, Izoria “Icy” Curtis, Orphee Curtis-Douglas, Amin Cooley, Terrance (Lakisa) Craig; two very special grandsons, Zsameire Agee, and Jace Carter Flint; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and friends; Special sisters Althea “Lynn” Leslie, Sheila “Triece” Black, Tammy Leavy, Torona “BeeDee” Wainwright.
Kenyetta Curtis was preceded in death by her father, paternal grandfather/grandmother, maternal grandfather, and grandmother; three uncles and one aunt.
