Kenneth Kapala

Kenneth Kapala was born July 20, 1956 in Rockford, IL to Stan Kapala and Arlene Carlsen. 

Ken graduated from Guilford High School in Rockford in 1974. He went on to be employed at JD Mott, and then later Columbia Pipe and Supply as a material handler until his retirement. Kenneth departed this life on May 28, 2023. He will be remembered for his witty and sarcastic sense of humor and his love and admiration for his children and grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by: Arlene Carlsen (mother) and Stan Kapala (father)

He leaves to cherish his memories: Nichole Kapala (daughter), Tyler Kapala (son), Elliyana Kapala and Jayliana Jones (grandchildren), Shaun Jones (son in law), Nancy Kapala (ex wife), Denise Cox (sister), Sam Cox (brother in law), and Pam Peterson (sister), as well as a host of dear friends and other extended family members.
