Kayla Arthurs Obituary

Kayla Brooke Arthurs, affectionately known as “Boo,” was born on January 6, 1996;  She passed away at the age of 29, on October 13, 2025.

Kayla was the beloved daughter of the late Jeremy James Arthurs and April Michelle Blitch. A proud mother of four, Kayla’s heart was full of love, laughter, and compassion. She worked as a Certified Childcare Assistant, where her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many children and families.

Kayla had a joyful and adventurous soul. She loved being outdoors, listening to music, attending cookouts, going trick-or-treating, taking long drives, and gazing up at the sky — her favorite place to find peace and inspiration. She was known for always showing up for others, never hesitating to lend a hand or share a smile.

She deeply cherished her job and the close bond she shared with her dear friend and boss, Laura Heany (deceased). Kayla loved fiercely and gave her whole heart to everyone she cared for.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jeremy James Arthurs.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: Her loving mother, April Michelle Blitch;  Grandparents, Craig Arthurs, Linda Moyer, Wendy (Alfred) Largo, and Jeff “PawPaw” Blitch Sr., Great-grandmother, Elaine “Granny” Blitch;  She is also survived by a large and loving family of aunts and uncles extending from Minnesota all the way to Georgia, and by her brothers, Treyven Arthurs and Shayden B.

Her greatest pride and joy were her children: Kayonna Hardnett, Kylayah Hardnett, and Kamariah Hardnett — with their father Davionne Hardnett; and her son Legend Jackson — with Aaron Jackson.

Very special people in Kayla’s life include her very close brother whom she loved as her own Treyven “Daye Daye”; beloved Aunt Courtney “Cooter”,  Kimber Hackman, her lifelong best friend and sister at heart; Heather Murphy who she shared a motherly bond with,  her Aunt Rachie, Uncle Mytoe “Michael”; and several cousins who loved her dearly.

Kayla’s radiant smile, laugh, kind heart, and unconditional love will forever live on through her family, children, and all who were blessed to know her.
