Kattie Mae Brown

Kattie Mae Brown, 82 of Rockford departed this earthly life April 20,2023 in her home after a short illness. She was born May 20, 1940, in Marion, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Corine Johnson and Shedrick Lee, Sr. both deceased. Kattie migrated to Rockford in 1979. She was a loving, caring and giving person. She was married to Joe Henry Brown. She was a long - standing member of Faith Temple Church. Kattie was a proud mother of the following : 7 Sons ( Terry Robinson, Joe Brown, Tommy Brown, Billy Brown, Timothy Brown, Anthony Brown, Eddie Brown) 6 Daughters ( Joyce Brown, Deborah Brown, Sandra Barker, Carolyn Brown, Janice Brown, Angenette Brown) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, one daughter (Joyce Paden) and one grandson (Quintavious Brown)
