Jessica L. Young-Thomas

Jessica Lashae Young -Thomas of ROCKFORD departed this earthly life on January 25, 2024.   She was born December 4, 1998 in ROCKFORD daughter of Margaret Young and Jessie Thomas.

Jessica was a security guard; she graduated from Roosevelt high school. Jessica loved doing hair and make up that was her passion. Her son Jasahd was her world, but she was a mother before anything.

Jessica leaves to cherish her memories, son Jasahd; who was everything to her her. Loving parents, Jessie (Denise) Thomas  and Margaret Young (Tommie Paige); sisters, Bonnie Young (Tuva), Johnnese  Young, Amber and Patricia Thomas;  brothers, Johnnie Young, Taurean Thomas, Justin (Lisa) Pryor; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Young;  special cousin, Matthew Young; and best friend, Briauna Mallett; a good friend of the family Lisa Hamilton, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.  

Predeceased by her maternal grandfather, James Horton Sr.,  paternal grandmother, Earlean Thomas and aunt, Natasha Cleary.
