James Lee Rogers the son of the late Mattie Rogers, was born in Jacksonville, Mississippi on January 25, 1942. He resided in Rockford, Illinois all of his life.
He was the husband of the late Easter Hansard Rogers. James was a 1960s Vietnam veteran. He also worked at National Lot Factory in Rockford Illinois for many years. James loved partying and spending time with his loving family.
Left behind to cherish all of the loving and wonderful memories are his six nieces and nephews. His very special niece, Felicia (Greg) Brown, Kimberly Rodgers of Peoria Illinois, Carla Turner, Marvin Flint, Keith Flint all of Rockford, Il and Dyshell (Jerome) Pierce of Maricopa Arizona. 20 Great Nieces & Nephews, 31 Great Great Nieces &Nephews, 9 Great Great Great Nieces & Nephews.
James was predeceased by his (Wife) Easter Hansard Rogers, (Mother) Mattie Rodgers (Sister) Carrine Flint. He will always be loved and greatly missed.
