Greta Hollingsworth, of Rockford departed this earthly life November 29,2023. She was born March 17, 1964 in Oak Ridge, TN the daughter of Willie Lee Edwards and Betty Jo McMorris.

Greta lived in Rockford since childhood. She attended West High School Class of 1983. She worked as a Assistant Director at River Oak Retirement Living for 16 years. Greta's love for Interior Designing turned into a thriving business she named Solace4U, that allowed her to use her creativity to touch & service many individuals.

Greta leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, William Lyles, two sons, Keith (Marshawna) and Kelvin Cox; two daughters, Brittnay and Breanna Cox; six grandchildren, Ke'von Powell, Kamariah Crossland, Faith Johnson, Kaiden Cox, Brystin Wrancher, and Isaiah Akins; three sisters, Gladys Gina Wills, Kimberly Edwards, and Kimberly Gibson; two brothers, Bryrone Fredricks and Willie Lee Edwards Jr; step father, Elmer McMorris; special nephew, Kenneth Brown; special cousins; Bonnie Fuzzell and Manya Collins; special friends; Regina Hendrix and Tanisha Davis. Predeceased by her parents; and brother David L. Edwards.
