George S. Trammell Sr.

George S, Trammell 40 of Rockford departed this earthly life on Saturday November 12, 2022 in Rockford, IL.  He was born July 16, 1982 the eldest of Napoleon J. Trammell Jr. and Joann (Ellis) Trammell.  George lived in Rockford all his life.  He was self employed as a general labor in roofing and landscaping.  George attended Rockford Public Schools.  He graduated from Roosevelt Alternative High School receiving his G.E.D. in 2000.  He later went on to college taking on line courses in art illustration.  George loved riding bikes.  He especially loved BMX racing.  George competed in local and national racing for many years.  He had many sponsors and was well known for his racing skills in the BMX community.  George will be truly missed.  His infectious smile that would light up the room to his sense of humor.  

George leaves to cherish his many loving memories: Five daughters, Giavana Trammell of Woodbury, MN, Serenity Hodyniak of Bonneterre, MO, Aalyiah Keller, A'Mariea Singletary and Miranda Phillips of Rockford, IL; three sons, Keagan Trammell, KeiShon Trammell and George S. Trammell Jr., of Rockford, IL; two sisters, Lasonia Taylor and Christina Trammell of Rockford; three brothers, Brent Walker and Rufus Trammell of Rockford, Napoleon Trammell III of Tunnel Hill, Ga; and a host of special nieces nephews other relatives and friends.  

He was predeceased by his sister, Shaneeka Trammell, maternal grandparents, George and Lula Ellis; paternal grandparents, Napoleon and Ella Rose Trammell Sr and one brother in law.
