Edward Lee Cole

Edward Lee Cole, affectionately known as “Eddie,” was born on December 5, 1957, in Tipenville, Tennessee. He answered God’s call home on January 15, 2026, after a long-term illness, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Edward earned his GED in Fox Lake, in Wisconsin. He loved to travel, especially to visit family, and enjoyed fishing whenever he had the chance. He had a deep love for music of all kinds, cars, and taking care of his business. A hardworking man, Edward was dedicated to living life fully and enjoying every moment. He was well known, deeply respected, and truly loved by many. He also enjoyed gambling, but above all, he was a good man to countless people.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Cole; his father, Lee Cole;

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Edward Cole Jr. (“Lil Eddie”); and his grandchildren; siblings: Faye Cole, Renee Cole, Lashunda Cole, Tiernny Cole, Vance Lamar, Dustin Ford, Daryl Smith (of Wisconsin), Jeri Cole, Stanley (Keyshia) Cole (of Georgia), James Cole, Jakie Cole, and Michael Cole (of Rockford, Illinois); along with a host of nieces and nephews, close friends, and his dear longtime friend, “Hopper Stopper.”

Edward will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and meaningful connections with those who had the privilege of knowing him.
