Dwight Hollingshed

Dwight Hollingshed 60 departed his earthly life on July 4, 2021. He was born January 11/1961 to the late Margaret Henderson and Lee H. Simon. Dwight lived most of his life in Rockford, IL moving to Wisconsin for a short time.

Dwight completed his education in Rockford Public School System. He also served in the United States Marine Corp. Dwight worked at various jobs before becoming ill. Dwight enjoyed playing basketball, going to the gun range with his son Aaron. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. 

Dwight leaves to cherish his spouse, Agnis Hollingshed (2010-2015) his children Tarisha Byox, Aaron (Latisha) Jackson, and Evander Jackson all of Rockford, IL. Dwight also leave s memories with his father, Lee H. Simon, three sisters, Sherry Hollingshed, J. Hazel Ferguson, and Kiana Wilson, six brothers, Gerald Omar, Kenneth Hollingshed, Gregory Simon, Malcom Fort, Alvin Ferguson and Dezi Simon. Dwight also leaves to cherish 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children along with a host of family and friends include his best friend Darrell Lane.

Dwight is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Henderson and Sister Brenda Jones
