Doris White

Doris Etta White of Rockford, IL departed this earthly life on February 5, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her loving husband and son. She was born on December 19, 1952, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Queen and J.C. Heath. She graduated from Auburn High School. Doris was married to Russell White on August 14, 1982. She loved to cook and was a proud owner of a restaurant in Phoenix AZ and she worked in the Rockford area, as well. Doris was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess and faithfully served on the Ushers Board.

Doris leave to cherish many fond memories her husband; son ~ Rashawn White; one granddaughter ~ La’Niysha White; one grandson ~ Ja’Mir White; extended family - stepsister ~ Denise; two brothers ~ Tyrone and Anthony, all of Alabama; four daughters ~ Theresa (Troy) Jones, Latisha (Xandria) White-James, Terasia White, Simone White; two sons ~ John Goins-White and Russell (Nicole) Spears-White, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Doris was predeceased by parents, stepfather ~ Malachi Lambert, grandparents, brother ~ Julius Heath and daughter ~ Antionette Bondurant.
