Deon Hart

Deon Leray Hart  50, was called home on October 15, 2024 after a short illness in Rockford, Illinois.  Deon was born December 9, 1973 to Mattie Hart and Joe Hammonds in Rockford, Illinois.  He attended Auburn high school and held various jobs throughout his life. 

He leaves behind three children, Damanika Hart (RED) (Rkfd), Deon Hart Jr (TX), Diona Hart (Rkfd)  ex-wife/friend Shamika Starns Hart (Rkfd), 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Bonnie Hart, Mattie Butler, Diane Hart, Linda Hart and Lisa Hart; three Brothers, Danny (Tammy) Willie and Michael Hart; sisters and brothers in Tennessee Debra, Brenda, Joe Jr, Albert and so many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew‘s and cousins. 

Special friends include: Keefer Simpson, Terry Smith, Darrell and many more dear friends in this life and beyond.

Preceded in death by: his mother Mattie Hart; his father Joe Hammonds; nephews Jamie Hart, Derrick Butler; nieces Mercedes Hart and Da’naija Neal.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
