David Peppers

David K. Pepper, 62, of Rockford, passed away November 12, 2025 surrounded by loved ones, after a long illness. Born on September 25, 1963, he was the beloved son of Doyle and Elsie Peppers.

David was ambitious and lived life to the fullest. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing, and was always looking for the next place to cast a line. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand—to friends, family, or complete strangers. David was a hard worker from sunup to sundown. He enjoyed the blues, motorcycles, and wrestling, and was a devoted mentor to his younger brother, John.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Jerry (Lisa) Peppers, Steve (Debbie) Peppers, John Peppers, Vicky (Mike) Ruggles, Cindy (Carl) Nielsen, Susie (Jack) Elder, sister and devoted care giver, Sarah Lieb, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bob, Billy, Donald, an infant sister; and his grandparents.
