Curtis E. Phinnessee

Curtis Eugene Phinnessee of Rockford departed this earthly life December 04, 2020 in his home after a sudden illness.  He was born June 26, 1956 coming from Hickory Valley, Tennessee.  The son of Jessie James Jones and Cecilia Phinnessee.  Curtis lived 50 years in Rockford and attended Rockford Public School; he was employed at G&K services for many years.  
He leaves to cherish many memories, his wife, Rebecca; sons, Michael Polk, Curtis Phinnessee Jr., Christopher Phinnessee; daughters, Olicia (Dwarn) Bennett, Mariah Strawbridge; four sisters, Martha Rogers, Lizzie Thomas, Rose Phinnessee, Annette (David) Blakely; eight granddaughters, eleven grandsons; four great grands; also beloved by seven sisters and four brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Special nephew/bestfriend James Turner.

He was predeceased by both parents, his son, David Polk as well as four sisters and one brother.
