Cleaster Harris Obituary

Cleaster Mae Harris 81 of Rockford was born June 15, 1937 in Camden, Arkansas to Odell Sevier and Floyd Harris. She participated in basketball while attending Union Grove High School. Cleaster was employed as a machine operator for Northern Illinois Hospital service for many years. She married Leon Freeman in 1954 to this union one child was born Gwendolyn D. Glover. She was a proud member and usher at Living Faith Tabernacle.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Gwendolyn Glover; grandchildren, Tony (Michelle) Criag, Joyce (Brock) Craig-Williams, Tonisha Craig; and one brother, Wendell (Judy) Harris; five great grands; one great great grand and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Predeceased by both parents, and one brother, Johnny B. Avery.
