Carolyn D. Tenner

Carolyn Denise Tenner was born on March 20th 1964 in Chicago Illinois, first born to James Henry Tenner and Ollie Lee McAdory. Raised in Rockford Illinois by way of Treva Tenner, Carolyn later relocated back to Chicago where she attended Farragut High School then later went on to start a family. Her upbringing allowed her to develop a close relationship with her father, God. Carolyn was known to many as Mama due to her nurturing nature and extremely kind heart which she was happy to share with everyone around her.  

On October 26th 2021 she was called home for the same reasons we wanted her to stay.

Preceding her, her father, two brothers (James Henry Tenner III and Miller Tenner) and Treva.

With precious memories she left her mother, Ollie Lee McAdory; her children, Patrice Tenner, Patrick Robinson, Phelisha Hiley, Phillip Robinson, Preston Robinson; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Helen Tenner, Jackie Tenner, Nettie Tenner and Teresa Dismuke;  brothers, Michael McAdory, Nic Tenner and Aymond Tenner and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
