Blaze Todd Klein
10/06/1991 - 06/07/2025
Blaze Klein 33, of Rockford IL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 7th 2025. Blaze was born October 6th 1991 in Rockford IL nearly 3 months premature and spent his first few months fighting to live in the nicu. Blaze came into this world too soon as well as he left far too soon, but that did not stop the impact he left on this life for the many that knew and loved him. Blaze along with his parents Jamey and Wendy and sister Kali Klein lived in Loves Park, Rockford And the surrounding areas, attending schools in both districts. Blaze spent his days not only with a cool name but with a spirit for life that very few have. He loved riding bikes and skate boards all over the city exploring, living a 90's kids dream. Blaze touched many people along the way; there wasn't a place he would go where he didn't make a friend. Blaze was the life of the party and brought light and laughter in every room he stepped in. Blazes love, laugh and sense of humor will never be matched. Blaze had a heart of gold and an attitude of steel just like his mama, and could swing it just like he could his hammer. Blaze was a blue collar man and most of his days were spent in his t shirt, jeans, hat and good old work boots. Blaze was a damn good carpenter as his dad would say and he worked construction all over Illinois and Wisconsin. He was also a very talented artist, leaving his mark on many family and friends. Blaze was his father's prodigy. Jamey gave his boy every bit of knowledge he had, from building to tattooing to his green thumb. Blaze enjoyed fishing, swimming, just walking and being outside. Blaze loved all animals but dogs were his favorite, and there wasn't one he couldn't befriend. Material things never mattered much to Blaze, his family, friends and making people laugh mattered. Blazes niece and nephew were the light of his life and he always made sure he let them know how much he loved them. But he was known as uncle Blaze to every child in his life "the cool uncle" who would hand out money when he had it, buy the cool new toys, and build race tracks and furniture. Build forts and big tents in the living room. Drawing pen tattoos on the kids and letting them give him some too. Even sneaking the kids out for midnight snacks, he was just a big kid himself. Blazes presence will forever be missed. Blaze leaves behind sister and brother in law Kali Klein and Rondell Tilson, niece and nephew Camari and Isaiah Tilson, God Brother Dylan Bryant and many more family and friends far too many to name, but you know who you are, who loved him deeply as well as many cherished and wild moments to look back on. Blaze was met on the other side by his parents Jamey and Wendy Klein, his grandparents Carolyn and Willie Wright, Muggsy and Duke Erickson, Nanny, Peg Dunbar. His dogs and best buds Zuce and Sage eye and many more family and friends.
