Billy Ray Jackson Jr. 46, better known as June and Uncle June, departed this earthly life unexpectedly on December 26, 2025.
This one in a million young man was born April 23rd , 1979,to Bettye Jackson-Norman and the late Billy Jackson Sr.
He graduated from Jefferson High school, and he completed and received his degree from Rasmussen University. Billy started working at Amcore Bank at the age of 17 and continued to work in the banking field for 30 years as Amcore became BMO Harris Bank and he excelled into the position of Senior Business Analyst. Billy accepted Christ as his lord and savior and he attended and became a member of No Cross, No Crown Fellowship Church. He was kind, loving, caring, giving, and most of all he was honest.
Billy was a hard-working young man, and he held many jobs.He was a banker, a football coach at Harlem High School, an assistant track coach at Guilford High School, and he didn’t stop there! He was the greatest of all times cook because when it came to cooking…. He was the GOAT! He grilled better than anyone I knew, and he made desserts that were off the chain! A jack of all trades is what he was! He could fix and repair anything from laying floorings, painting, remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, basements, houses and a couple of businesses! Whatever he set his mind to accomplish, he did it, and he did it like no one else!
Billy traveled to many places in and out of the United States, including cruises and many family trips! He loved his family and friends and was always available whenever they needed him! He never turned down a request for help.
Billy was admitted into Loyola Medical Center in March of 2025, during his hospital stay he underwent many painful procedures and endured a lot of pain, and he never ONCE lost his smile! He received two empellas (one on each side of his heart) to keep his heart beating until he received his heart transplant on June 20th, 2025, and in July he came home to spend the rest of his days with family and friends until he was called to his eternal home for rest.
