Billy D Chears

Billy D. Chears was born Hickory Valley, TN on May 30, 1949 son of Emmitt Williams and Edna Cole. He was a very talented Musician, producer, singer and had his own business for many years as a contact electrician. His passion was always keeping the family together and listening to music, while playing cards. 

Billy had a very contiguous laugh that you hear all through the house. Billy was called “Count” by most of his childhood friends, family and musicians. Billy was in the Army for many years.

He leaves on this Earth to cherish his memories, and to continue his legacy, his beautiful wife of 42 years Margaret,  four daughters, Latissa Chears-Spears, Sabrina(Devin) Bell, Deetreca/Trish(Keith) Pullen, Machesia Jacobs-Chears; son,  Effrance (Betty) Chears. Brother Robert L. Chears, sister Earlene (Ezell) Mason; 30 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

When God called his name, Billy took his last breath and was greeted at  heaven’s gates by his parents; two sons Antonio Martin & Lamar Chears; twin brother Willie Chears, brother Edward Chears; sisters Julie M. Brown, Dolly M. Oliver, Carrie Holland, Edna Earl Chears, Eanestine Wedley and Bebble A Sea; Grandson Damavlee Macklin Great-granddaughter MyonnaCaldwell. His best friend/dog Perez. We will truly miss Billy presence and his big smile.
