April S. Dismuke

April Shenita Dismuke departed this earthy life on April 26, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1972, to the late Violet and William Harris Sr. She was the second youngest of seven children, but she always had the heart of a leader.

She attended West High School and furthered her education at educators of beauty where she later obtained a license in cosmetology. A strong and giving woman she helped raise a slew of nieces, nephews, and cousins. April successfully operated a home daycare. She was an entrepreneur at heart, she tried her hand venturing into the start of multiple small businesses. She was also a chef in the kitchen with a smile that would light up any room. She will always and forever be missed.

She leaves behind: Three daughters, Tasheyla Hudson, Deborah Davis, Serenity Dismuke; Six Grandchildren, Mikayla Gary, Le’Ojia Castleberry, Ja’Kai Shelton, Messiah Fergusen, Emery Davis and Nova Falls; Six Siblings and a host of nieces Nephews and cousins and a special friend Danielle Wilburn.
