Antonio Thomas

Antonio Lawrence Thomas was born on April 11,1966 in cook county, Chicago IL to Elaine Thomas. Antonio was the first of five children.    
Antonio was employed at Miss  Carly’s Inc. On October 25,2021 as a Store house manager. 
He was joined in holy matrimony with Sylvia S. Barnes, April11 2019 for 3 years, and was engaged to be remarried in August 2022. This was the happiest moment of his life. 
Antonio departed this life March 18, 2022, in Rockford IL. He was preceded in death by his mother; Elaine Thomas, sister; Carolyn Tucker, and daughter; Annette Cross-Torrance.  
Antonio leaves to cherish his memories Sylvia (wife); Children; Alex, Eddie, and Sylvia Myles, Rockford IL.  and Albert, (Sparkle) Gaston, Huston Texas; Siblings; Robert (Nanette), and Joseph Thomas, Chicago IL, Raleigh (Marie), Thomas, IN; and one aunt, Rosie Wilson, Chicago IL. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
Antonio loved to bet on football and basketball games, he loved to eat, and he loved to watch movies. Antonio was quiet, but when he did speak, people listened. Though he was far from perfect, Antonio strived to emulate his savior by serving the homeless, addicted and hungry. Antonio found community in the rooms of 12 step programs and left behind many friends that became family.
