Anthony Flowers, affectionately known as “Tugg” to his family and “Lil Foe” to his friends, was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Tina Lockett and Anthony Flowers on September 21, 1992.
He attended Manley High School and later dedicated himself to helping others through his work at Metropolitan Family Services.
Anthony’s path was uniquely his own. He experienced both highs and lows, yet remained a fiercely loyal son, father, brother, and friend. He lived life on his terms, and his heart for the people he loved never changed.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Manny and Melisa Flowers; uncles David, Edward, and Michael Flowers.
Anthony was a devoted father to his two children, Keiay Flowers and Kior Flowers; and bonus son, Kevon (Keana Crosby), who were the center of his world. He also leaves behind his loving siblings Talissa Flowers, Shamire Flowers, Jada Carroll, Legend Flowers and longtime girlfriend, Easha. To Anthony, family went beyond blood; his friends were his chosen family, and he embraced them with unwavering loyalty and love.
Anthony had a gift for making people feel like family. He was sweet, kindhearted, and loyal. His warm smile, generous spirit, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Anthony’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. His life and memory will forever be held close in the hearts of his parents, grandparents, aunts, siblings, children, and the many cousins and friends who loved him dearly. We take comfort in knowing, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
