HEARDSCINE MARSHALL 1938-2017
Heardscine Marshall transitioned from this earthly life to life eternal on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born June 4, 1938 in Leland, Mississippi. After moving to Rockford, Heardscine attended Rockford West high School. She retired from The Ingersoll Milling Machine Company after many faithful years of service. She was a proud member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. Heardscine leaves to cherish loving memories her sons, Clayborn Wesson and Michael Wesson; daughters, Yvonne Tillman, Frankie Wesson, Blanche (Roy) Stallworth, Nadine (Dave) Wesson Crayton, Elizabeth (Oliver) Emerson, and Mariechen Marshall; Brother, Calvin (Brenda) Glover; only living aunt; Mrs. Corine Hearns; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren. Heardscine is predeceased by her son; Kenneth Wesson, mother; Q.C., step-father; Ben Glover, husbands; Wilber Wesson and Elijah Marshall. Homegoing services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1703 S. Central Avenue, Rockford, IL, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Board officiating. Visitation will be held at Pilgrim prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
