Wayne Loury Sr

Wayne Loury, Sr. was born on October 27, 1945 to the union of Nathaniel Dawson and Nettie Loury in Rockford, Illinois.  He departed his life peacefully on December 06, 2018.  Wayne attended Rockford Public Schools.  He was employed as an over the road truck driver for many years.  Wayne was last employed at the Rockford Register Star as a news carrier for 20 years.  

He leaves to cherish many loving memories his wife, Yvonne of 52 years; daughter, Donise; son, Nathaniel (Amanda); 13 grandchildren, 15 great grand children; sister, Brenda Wilkie of Columbus, South Carolina; special niece daughter, Pamela (Napoleon) Morris; special cousin, Wendy (Keith) Webb; sister in laws, Delores Pendergrass and Edith Johnson; brother in laws, Duane (Linda) Johnson, Ronald Johnson, and Clinton (Sandra) Metcalf; a host of family friends and the entire Mt Carmel M.B. Church family.    

Wayne is now at peace, resting in his faith in the house of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is predeceased by one daughter, Brandi Yvonne Loury; one son, Wayne Loury Jr; and both parents.
