Virginia Holliday-Melton

Virginia “Angel” Holliday-Melton, of Rockford, departed this earthly life April 25, 2019. She was born March 30, 1967, in Billings, MT, to Charles and Rose Rickett. Angel lived most of her life in Rockford but traveled back to Montana and other cities throughout her adult life with a period of that time on an Indian Reservation. Angel dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her partner, John “Fruit” Sallis. She was a caregiver and a nurturer to many. Angel enjoyed swimming, playing volleyball and just being around people, especially those that loved the Lord.

Angel leaves to cherish many loved ones, her daughters, Bianca Holliday and Whitney Rickett-Sallis; her step children, Brian and Cynthia Sallis; her grandchildren, Angelo, Nina, Alonzo, Azmariah, Tariah, Zaeniah, Miking, John’miere, John’Ziere, Rose and Aryiah; Great grandchildren, Amyla and DeAngelo; father, Charles (Ann) Rickett and siblings Georgianna Crow and Charles Rickett and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Angel was predeceased by her mother Rose and brothers Abe and Ron Rickett. Close friend of the family Dwain Gregory Jr.
