Sarah J. Kennedy

Sarah Jean Kennedy was born September 22, 1939 to Welton B. & Jennie L. Dees, Philadelphia, MS. Sarah relocated to Ripley, TN. There
she was united in Holy Matrimony to Ivory A. Neal Who preceded herin death. To that union was born sons Ivory E. (Peggy) Neal of New
Berlin, WI., Timothy R. Neal of Chicago, Illinois, and Kevin L. (Janet) Neal of Rockford, Illinois. Later in life she relocated to, Rockford, IL.
and married Prentis K. Kennedy who preceded her in death.  Sarah was an earlier employee at Pacific Scientific (formally) known as
Honeywell) for 25 years, and was as active member of St. Paul COGIC, where she served on the Usher and Mother’s Boards.
Sarah is preceded by her parents and two brothers. She leaves to mourn her death, her three sons and siblings: Joyce Rogers (Ripley
TN.), Barbara Colquitt (Rockford, IL.) Helen (Billy) Penix (Rockford, IL.) Melba (Ventrus) Norfolk (Sweetwater, Tx.), Janet (Lynn) Polk
(Ripley TN.), Gerald Dees, (Ripley TN.) Andrew Dees (Rockford, IL.) and Flora (Sterling) Sturrup (Dallas TX.); 4 grandchildren, 12 great-
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
