Ozell Johnson was born April 30, 1937 to Inez and Lee Henry Clifton Johnson in Lexington, Mississippi. Ozell attended and graduated from Ambrose High School. Ozell accepted Christ at an early age, she was a faithful member of Gods Helping Hand Church for many years.
Ozell worked at Peterson Park Nursing Home for over 40 years. She loved cooking, listening to Gospel music, watching her game shows, drinking coffee with Miss Eunice and she loved her rocking chair.
Preceded in death by both parents, brother, Darnell Johnson; sister, Louise Johnson; daughter, Gwendolyn Benjamin; and grandson, Carl Mckinney.
Ozell was called home on Sunday, January 20th at 3:01pm.
Ozell leaves to cherish her loving memories there sons, Michael, Lydell (Delicia), William (Candice); one daughter, Mershell; 15 Grandchildren, Marvin, Lydell Jr., Jason, Zena, Jaquita, Ralph, Lamar, Keith, William Jr., Damirah, Tyler, Taylor, Monika, Michael Jr., Keyarie, and Shaunte; four brothers, William, Theodis, Elmore (Pearl) and Robert; five sisters, Sally, Susan, Rose, Linnie (James), Mary and Carrie; God sons, Oscar Reap, and Jerry Wright; and a host of Great and Great great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and Dear friends.
