ILEY JOSEPH BAILEY-MURRAY, 55 ATLANTA - Iley Joseph Bailey-Murray, 55 of Atlanta passed away Monday, Jan 30, 2012. Born Oct. 31, 1956, in Chicago to Fred and Jeanette (Ethridge) Bailey-Murray. Iley was raised in Rockford, Ill., and graduated East High School in 1975. He attended college at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. He returned to Rockford for several years before moving to Atlanta around 1984. Iley is survived by daughter, Rachel Woodard-Wynn of Rockford, grandchildren, Gerald Wynn and Gloria Makahela Wynn of Columbia, Tenn.; mother, Jeanette Bailey-Murray of Rockford; sisters and brothers, Janet (Charles) Mingo of Homewood, Ill., Jeanne (William) Banks of Rockford, Freda Bailey-Murray (Dennis Taphorn) of Henderson, Nev., Linda (Herbert) Kasiem of Rockford, Fountain (Myra) Bailey-Murray of Union City, Calif., Arthur (Debbie) Bailey-Murray of Coralville, Iowa, twin sister, Jennie (Sidney) Gray of Oakland, Tenn., and Jeanette Shelton (Bryce) Kahley of New Milford, Ill.; several aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by father, Fred E. Bailey-Murray Sr., and brother, Fred E. Bailey-Murray Jr. We want to give a special thanks to his "Atlanta Mother," Mrs. Pearlie Hicks. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Spirit of Truth Church, 828 First Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; Pastor Monte Crane will officiate. Repast at 1 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 5455 Charles St., Rockford. Arrangements entrusted to Collins & Stone Funeral Home, 128 S. Fifth St., Rockford.
